Peer Mediation

Peer Mediation

In 5th and 6th Grade, the Peer Mediation program is implemented, designed by legal experts and mediation trainers, aiming to equip students with the appropriate knowledge and skills to effectively recognize and manage any conflict or disagreement. Students learn to understand the factors shaping conflicts and, ultimately, how to leverage them creatively. This program involves continuous collaboration between educators and members of the School’s Counseling Team. Students explore scenarios related to their school and daily reality, engage in mediation role-plays by assuming different roles (mediator or one of the parties involved in the disagreement), experiment with experiential games that highlight the importance and value of mediation, and create and dramatize their own scenarios, examining conflicts from various perspectives.

The Peer Mediation program is seamlessly integrated into the broader Health Education curriculum for these grades.
