Admission to Elementary School

Admission to 1st Grade

  • Parents submit the Candidate Admission Application between October and February of the previous school year, when the relevant online platform is activated.
  • The approval of the application depends on the availability of spots and the order of submission. If spots are available, a fee of €80 is paid, and a meeting is scheduled between the family and the School’s counseling team.
  • The final selection also considers whether the child has siblings already attending the School and/or if the parents are alumni of The American College of Greece.
  • After receiving a positive response from the School, parents submit the Enrollment Application accompanied by a deposit to secure the spot.

Admission to 2nd Grade

  • Parents submit the Candidate Admission Application between October and February of the previous school year, when the relevant online platform is activated.
  • The approval of the application depends on the availability of spots and the order of submission. If spots are available, a fee of €80 is paid, and a meeting is scheduled between the family and the School’s counseling team.
  • The final selection considers the student’s performance and skill level from the previous school year. It also considers whether the child has siblings already attending the School and/or if the parents are alumni of The American College of Greece.
  • After receiving a positive response from the School, parents submit the Enrollment Application accompanied by a deposit to secure the spot.

Admission to 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Grades

  • Parents submit the Candidate Admission Application between October and February of the previous school year, when the relevant online platform is activated.
  • If spots are available, parents are required to pay a fee of €80 for their child to participate in entrance exams in May for three subjects: English, Greek Language, and Mathematics.
  • After receiving a positive response from the School, parents submit the Enrollment Application accompanied by a deposit to secure the spot.
  • In cases of unexpected withdrawals of enrolled students shortly before the start of the school year, and if entrance exams have not already been conducted, the School may proceed with filling the spot by (a) respecting the chronological order of submitted applications and (b) prioritizing candidates with siblings already attending the School and candidates whose parents are alumni of The American College of Greece. For the admission of the candidate, their performance and skill level from the previous school year will be assessed through an individual examination arranged with the parents.
