Policies and Regulations

Pierce is an authorized IB World School to offer the Diploma Program. Pierce fully complies with the regulations and standards of the International Baccalaureate Organization as well as with the Greek Law and the Ministry of Education for the operation of the IB DP in secondary education.

These principles and practices are reflected, articulated and embodied in the school’s policies and practices.

IB DP General Regulations

The following document contains the IBO official rules and regulations that apply to those schools that have been authorized as IB World Schools to offer the DP. The document is intended for schools, candidates and their legal guardians. The term “legal guardians” refers to parents and individuals with legal guardianship of any candidate enrolled in the DP.

These regulations should be used as guidance for schools about their roles and responsibilities, and as information for candidates and legal guardians about the IBO and the DP. The Articles defined in the document cover most aspects of the DP including the content, recognition, and the assessment of the program.
