Elementary School
The Elementary School offers an enriched morning curriculum that includes the implementation of the core mandatory program, as defined by the Ministry of Education. By utilizing additional teaching hours approved by the local Education Directorate, the program places a further emphasis on the teaching of English, Mathematics, Modern Greek, Music, and Visual Arts. Additionally, from Grades 1 through 6, the school provides a series of comprehensive experiential programs designed with a unified educational approach. These programs focus on environmental education and awareness, the development of STEAM skills, cultivating a love for reading, fostering emotional resilience and teamwork, and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
The educational program is delivered through student-centered, interdisciplinary, collaborative, and experiential teaching methods. These approaches aim to engage students in all subjects by encouraging them to take initiatives, fostering diverse collaborations, and enabling a discovery-based and interdisciplinary approach to knowledge. Beyond the teaching staff, who form the heart and soul of the program, its design and implementation involve specialized scientific collaborators, the Psychopedagogical Team, and other experts in various fields. Additionally, the program consistently utilizes all facilities and infrastructure of the East Campus, as well as the school’s fully equipped laboratories.
The goal of the educational program extends beyond individual academic growth to cultivating well-rounded personalities with a strong sense of responsibility, commitment, and a desire to contribute positively to their own lives and society at large. Central to this mission is the creation of a calm and creative environment that supports continuous development. Each student is individually nurtured, with respect for their unique characteristics, to develop a multifaceted personality. At the same time, they are encouraged to be creative, curious, and capable of managing their emotions safely, while honing their critical thinking skills. Ultimately, the school environment strives to meet the unique cognitive and social challenges of each student’s personal journey.
