Beekeeping
Tucked within the East Campus Vegetable Garden, a dedicated beekeeping space is home to three beehives, serving as the heart of our school's Beekeeping Academy. This space offers students a unique opportunity to learn firsthand about the world of bees and their vital role in maintaining biodiversity and ecological balance.
Through experiential activities and workshops, students – starting from the early grades – begin to explore the “secrets” of bee society as part of the Vegetable Garden curriculum. By fifth grade and Gymnasium, they suit up in professional gear to participate in specialized workshops in collaboration with AGÁLE. In the sixth grade, they take their skills a step further—embarking on a comprehensive entrepreneurship program that transforms hive-made treasures into tangible products, including honey, lip balm, beeswax, and salves.
