Pierce Teacher Contributes to the Development of Approved Educational Materials for New 6th-Grade Textbooks

9 September 2026

We are delighted and proud to announce that Maria Stivaktaki, an educator at Pierce, contributed to the design and development of digital learning objects incorporated into the new textbooks and workbooks for the 6th grade Greek Language course.

Accessible via QR codes, these digital learning objects enable students to interact with contemporary educational materials that enrich the learning process and harness the potential of educational technology.

The educational materials, together with their accompanying digital tools, have been approved by the Institute of Educational Policy (IEP) and will be available to the educational community from the beginning of the new school year.

The participation of our teachers in initiatives that help shape contemporary educational content is a tangible expression of Pierce’s commitment to innovation, excellence, and the continuous advancement of teaching and learning.
