Planting the ChristmasTree

Kindergarten
12 January 2026

With the end of the holiday season and the arrival of the new year, all Kindergarten students—both older and younger groups—took part in planting the Christmas tree in the schoolyard, right next to last year’s tree. This activity is part of an ongoing tradition in our school, where each year the children plant a fir tree, actively contributing to the shaping and enrichment of the school environment.

The planting process offered a meaningful hands on experience, allowing the children to take an active role, collaborate, and engage with concepts such as care, continuity, and respect for nature. At the end of the activity, everyone decided together to give the new tree a name. Through a vote, the fir tree was named “Lucretia,” earning its own special place in our school.
