With tremendous pride and joy, the Pierce – The American College of Greece community warmly congratulates all our graduates who have earned admission to higher education. Every achievement has its own story. It represents the culmination of a long and demanding journey shaped by hard work, consistency, perseverance, and dedication to a goal. Behind every outstanding result is a young person with dreams and strong values; beside every student is a family offering unwavering support and an educational community providing guidance, knowledge, care, and encouragement. Through focused preparation and meaningful support, our graduates achieved their academic goals and secured places at some of Greece’s leading university schools and departments.

Exceptionally High Rankings: Special recognition goes to 11 of our graduates who achieved exceptionally high rankings in the university departments to which they were admitted:

• Evanthia Theodosiou – 8th in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens
• Lydia Kalemou – 22nd in the School of Medicine at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens
• Filippa Angelopoulou – 12th in the School of Law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens
• Pavlina Mamalaki – 4th in the School of Law at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki
• Eleni Katsarou – 1st in the School of Civil Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens
• Despoina Petrou – 11th in the School of Chemical Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens
• Elisavet Antoniadi – 20th in the Department of Management Science and Technology at the Athens University of Economics and Business
• Aristotelis Avramidis – 16th in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics at the University of Patras

Outstanding Results Across Every Academic Field: This year’s achievements span the full range of academic disciplines and reflect the consistently high standard of our graduates’ academic preparation.

Science and Technology: A total of 41 graduates secured places at polytechnic and engineering schools across Greece, including 25 at the National Technical University of Athens. Among these outstanding results:

• 17 graduates were admitted to Electrical and Computer Engineering departments, including 10 at the National Technical University of Athens
• 3 graduates were admitted to the School of Mechanical Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens, while another 3 were admitted to corresponding departments in Patras and Volos
• 2 graduates were admitted to the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics at the University of Patras
• 2 graduates were admitted to the School of Chemical Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens
• 9 graduates were admitted to Civil Engineering departments, including 4 at the National Technical University of Athens
• 3 graduates were admitted to Architecture schools
• A further 6 graduates were admitted to the Schools of Applied Mathematical and Physical Sciences, Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, Rural, Surveying and Geoinformatics Engineering, and Mining and Metallurgical Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens

Health Sciences: Our graduates also achieved excellent results in the highly competitive field of Health Sciences:

• 7 graduates were admitted to medical schools, including 3 in Athens
• 2 graduates were admitted to Pharmacy programs
• 2 graduates were admitted to the School of Dentistry at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens
• Humanities

Our graduates achieved equally significant success in the Humanities: 

• 16 graduates will attend law schools: 9 in Athens, 2 in Thessaloniki, and 5 in Komotini
• 3 graduates will continue their studies in Psychology departments in Athens

Economics, Business and Information Technology: Pierce graduates also established a strong presence in Economics, Business, and Information Technology:

• 25 graduates were admitted to distinguished Economics and Business departments, including Management Science and Technology, Business Administration, Economics, Public Administration, Accounting and Finance, Maritime Studies, and Marketing and Communication
• 10 graduates secured places in leading Information Technology and Computer Science departments

It is also particularly noteworthy that 62% of our successful graduates will continue their studies at universities in Athens and Piraeus.

Every university admission represents far more than a number or a ranking. It is a deeply personal achievement, a recognition of each student’s hard work, and a source of great pride for the teachers and families who believed in them and supported them throughout their journey. These results reflect the determination of our students, the dedication of our teachers, and the steadfast support of their parents. Together, they created the conditions for learning, progress, personal growth, and academic distinction. Our graduates’ hard work has been rewarded, and an exciting new academic journey now lies ahead—one filled with knowledge, new experiences, creative challenges, and wider horizons.

33.4% of our students achieved top marks (scores above 18 out of 20), a rate three times higher than the national average (11.5%).

More specifically, Pierce students achieved outstanding results in the following subjects:

• Modern Greek Language: Pierce's rate of top-performing students was 5.4 times higher than the national average (5.9% vs. 1.1%).
• Ancient Greek: Pierce students achieved an eightfold higher rate of top scores compared to the national average (12.2% vs. 1.5%).
• Latin and Physics: Six out of ten of our students earned top marks.
• Biology, Chemistry, Economics, and Computer Science: Pierce students achieved top marks at nearly three times the national rate.
• Mathematics: half of our students on the Science Studies track (47.8%) earned top marks.
• History: More than half of Pierce students (53.7%) achieved top marks, compared with a national rate of 13.7%.

26% of the 2026 graduates chose to continue their studies at Deree, making use of the 50% tuition scholarship offered to all Pierce graduates — with 14% enrolling directly and 12% in Parallel Studies programs (combined with the public university in which they were admitted).

These outstanding results reaffirm Pierce’s leadership in education: our students worked methodically, parents supported their efforts, and teachers prepared them thoroughly and comprehensively.
