Our Kindergarten participated this year in the 10th ENSEC Conference on Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), held in Porto, Portugal, presenting two educational projects that reflect important aspects of our educational philosophy.
The first focused on poetry as a means of creative expression and a tool for Social and Emotional Learning, drawing on the children’s experiences throughout the 2025–26 school year.
The second presented “Individual Progress” as a tool for formative assessment and educational planning, through which observation and authentic learning evidence help educators recognise each child’s needs and plan the next steps in their learning journey.
For us, participating in the conference was a valuable opportunity to share with the educational community the experiences and work that take place every day in our Kindergarten, always keeping the child, their voice, development, and unique learning journey at the heart of our educational practice.
