The American College of Greece (ACG) and the National Centre for Scientific Research (NCSR) “Demokritos” will join forces to expand and enhance both institutions’ efforts in the area of innovation and economic development.

Beginning in early 2022, NCSR “Demokritos” will host The ACG Innovation Hub@Demokritos, which will provide space for start-ups, venture capitalists, research collaborations and other aspects relevant to innovation.

In a wide-ranging memorandum of understanding between the two entities signed in July, ACG and NCSR “Demokritos” have agreed to collaborate in other areas including scientific research projects, student projects and researcher/faculty exchanges.

The ACG Innovation Hub@Demokritos is expected to begin operations as early as spring of 2022, under the direction of ACG’s Research, Technology & Innovation Network.
