9th Competition in Ancient Greek Language and Literature

Pierce – The American College of Greece announces the 9th Student Competition in Ancient Greek Language and Literature, under the auspices of the School of Philosophy (Department of Philology) of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the Directorate of Secondary Education of B’ Athens.

The Competition will take place on Saturday, March 14, 2026 (10:00–12:00) at Pierce – The American College of Greece (6 Gravias Street, Postal Code 153 42, Agia Paraskevi, Attica) and is addressed to first-year students of General High Schools, public and private, in the Attica region.

Students who wish to participate must register, individually or through their school, by sending an email to pierce.arxaia2026@acg.edu (student name and school), no later than February 28, 2026. On the day of the Competition (14/3/2026), participants must arrive at the American College of Greece premises by 09:30, bringing their Police ID Card and two black or blue pens.

The three (3) students with the highest scores will be awarded books. The ten (10) students who follow in ranking will receive an Honorable Mention. All participants will receive a Certificate of Participation.
