On Sunday, February 8, 5th and 6th grade elementary students will experience a truly full and exciting day, discovering the authentic Pierce school experience!

One day is enough to get a taste of everything that makes life and learning at Pierce unique:

• They will attend classes and experience lessons the way they are taught at Pierce.
• They will enter the Pierce MakerSpace to sharpen their inventiveness and the FabLab to bring their ideas to life using digital tools.
• They will explore logic and creativity through mathematics, uncover the secrets of nature in the vegetable garden, and experiment with flavors in the kitchen as apprentice chefs.
• They will train in state-of-the-art athletic facilities, testing their skills in tennis, football and archery.
• They will also explore their artistic talents in areas such as theater, pottery and music in the school’s art workshops.

• Shaping History: When historical knowledge becomes a game, every child can hold the Phaistos Disc in their hands! With the help of 3D printing, we will recreate this unique artifact of Minoan Crete.
