On Tuesday, October 15, the kindergarten students celebrated Respect Day, a day dedicated to fostering respect—RESPECT. The children participated in various activities centered on love, care, respect for the environment, and the people they interact with daily. Using the story “The Invisible Tonino” by Gianni Rodari as inspiration, the students were encouraged to express their feelings and share their thoughts on the meaning of respect.
They also explored different roles within their environment, recognizing the value of each and identifying ways to show respect in interpersonal relationships.
As part of the celebration, the kindergarten students had the special opportunity to cook alongside their grandparents in the Cooking Lab. This tender activity honored the essence of respect and celebrated the unique bond shared between grandparents and grandchildren.
The day concluded with students, teachers, and staff gathering in a large circle to sing songs about respect, creating a heartfelt and meaningful end to this special celebration.
