After learning the basics about maps in Grade 5, we created our own map with the help of a cup filled with... trahanas! We spread it out on the paper, and a fantastic island nation emerged. We decided on the type of map and gave our country a name.
Next, we left it to chance to determine where the essential elements would go on the map. Wherever the dice landed, that’s where we placed mountains, lakes, tourist attractions, or cornfields. Then, we moved on to the legend, which we composed on the side of our map.
Finally, we colored our maps and added the essential compass.
We hope you like the final result!
