The "Seekers of Mysteries and Adventures" had the unique opportunity to visit the Temple of Poseidon at Sounion, an experience they thoroughly enjoyed and drew inspiration from. The children listened to the myth of the goddess Athena and Poseidon, learned how the Aegean Sea got its name, counted the temple’s columns, and represented them with their own bodies.
They also discussed the temple's construction, captured the archaeological site through their drawings, and later presented their artwork to the group.
The purpose of this activity was to introduce the children to Ancient Greek history and culture, teaching them about the temple and its significance in the ancient world. It also encouraged creative expression through activities and games, while offering them the chance to appreciate the natural beauty of the site.
