The new school year began with the Blessing -Agiasmós, a special and symbolic moment that marks the start of a new journey. With wishes for health, strength, and a beautiful, creative year, children and teachers from both Kindergarten and Primary School came together for the first time as a whole school community.
Our day continued in the classrooms. There, we took our first steps into this new daily routine. We got to know the space, our friends, the people who will look after us, the classroom corners, and our first routines.
Adaptation is a very personal process. It takes time, and we know that well. From the very beginning, it is important to make the most of the time we are given—so that we can connect, feel confident enough to try new things, and explore new experiences: new friendships, new faces and caregivers, a new everyday life, and a new way of being together.
With patience, love, and safety and by respecting the unique pace of each child—we will organize life in our School. After all, children’s first steps in Kindergarten are the foundation, so they can open their wings, discover who they are, and fly as far as they want and dream.
Good luck to us all and a great start!
