This week, the Pre-K and Kindergarten students were delighted to welcome their parents to School to celebrate the Literary Festival together—a festival dedicated to promoting a love for reading and books.
This year, the festival honored the wonderful works of Julia Donaldson and we had the opportunity to read many of her beloved stories.
The children proudly presented the books they created, inspired by their projects. They also played charades, acting out their favorite characters, raced against their parents in a relay to match Julia Donaldson’s characters to their settings and crafted their very own paper dolls, inspired by The Paper Dolls.
The day ended on a joyful note with a lovely song. A big thank you to all the parents for participating and making this day so memorable.
