We had the pleasure of welcoming visual artist Alexis Tetsis to the Kindergarten’s Art Workshop. He is the son of the renowned Greek painter Panayiotis Tetsis. The artist spoke to us about the works he is currently creating and shared his thoughts on the process of painting.
The children had the opportunity to view photographs of his artwork, observe the colors he chooses, and discover his distinctive style and line. Mr. Tetsis also revealed his unique method of creating his own colors in marker form—a technique that fascinated the children and one we are eager to try ourselves in the workshop in the future.
This experience enhanced the children’s creativity and opened new paths for experimentation and expression in the Art Workshop. We look forward to applying the ideas the artist shared with us and continuing to nurture a love for art through hands-on activities.
