On September 29th, our 7th, 8th, and 9th graders came together to celebrate the European Day of Languages 2026 under this year’s inspiring theme: "Languages Unite!"

Organized by our English and Foreign Languages Departments, students immersed themselves in a series of fun and interactive activities:

· Tackling tricky tongue twisters from across the continent.

· Matching European flags to unique regional idioms and decoding their meaning.

· Testing their listening skills by identifying different languages through music.

· Going on a "loanword hunt" to uncover shared roots across cultures.

· Putting their trivia knowledge to the test in interactive "Facts & Figures" quizzes.

It was a fantastic day of exploration, teamwork, and cultural discovery! A huge thank you to our language teachers for inspiring our students to embrace the beauty of global communication.
