Tina Sgouropoulou was born in Athens. She is a graduate of Pierce and holds a degree in Shorthand-Typing-Setting of Archives and Public Relations. She is a member of the Association of the Journalists of Athens (EΣHEA) and the Society of Greek Public Relations. Tina has been recognized with awards from the Botsis Foundation for her successful career in journalism, as well as from Pierce and Rotary Club.
Her professional journey includes presenting programs on Greek television and radio, where she served as an editor for a women’s magazine. Tina has also contributed to various magazines and newspapers, translated books, organized public relations events for numerous companies, and worked in the fields of advertising and communication.
Tina’s extensive experience extends to conducting interviews with notable figures, such as Sean Connery, Geraldine Chaplin, Julio Iglesias, Jeremy Irons, and José Carreras, as well as various VIPs like Paolo Bulgari, and renowned fashion designers like Oscar de la Renta, Pierre Cardin, and Karl Lagerfeld. She has also interviewed former Queen Farah Diba of Iran and the famous hairstylist to stars and queens, Alexandre de Paris, along with many famous Greek artists, painters, writers, and politicians.
Tina is married, and her daughter is a Pierce and Deree Alumna. She is also a proud grandmother.
