Pierce alumna (’84) Angeliki Kosmopoulou holds a bachelor’s degree in History and Archaeology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Αthens, a master’s degree in Business Administration from Leicester University in the United Kingdom, and a PhD in Classical Archaeology from Bryn Mawr College, Pennsylvania; United States.
Following a career in archaeology and cultural management in the University of Thessaly, Foundation of the Hellenic World, and the Athens Concert Hall, she established a boutique communications agency, Logos Associates, focusing on copywriting, content creation and consulting. She has worked for a broad clientele, including multinational companies, small businesses, public and private organizations, politicians, artists, and scholars.
Throughout her long and distinguished career, Angeliki Kosmopoulou has served as an advisor, content specialist and speechwriter for the Speaker of the Hellenic Parliament, the Minister of Culture, and the Mayor of Athens.
Academically, Dr. Kosmopoulou teaches copywriting, business writing, storytelling and crisis management to marketing- and advertising professionals, startuppers and young entrepreneurs.
Currently, Dr. Kosmopoulou is the Executive Director of the A.C. Laskaridis Charitable Foundation and serves on the Board of The People’s Trust. She is a mentor for such organizations as Women on Top, Women Act, and is a member of the Advisory Board of DIANEOSIS, an independent think-tank based in Athens. A published scholar in classics and archaeology, she is a regular contributor to Greek media such as Athens Voice, To Vima, Huffington Post, and Runner.
