IB Visual Arts students visit exhibitions

The IB DP Visual Arts students visited several exhibitions as part of their regular gallery visits organized by the Visual Arts course. Among them “Odysseus and the Bathers” by Paul Chan at the Cycladic Museum in which the students were offered a tour by a NEON foundation tour guide.

In the Cycladic Museum, the students also visited the contemporary art exhibition “George Condo at Cycladic”, the first major solo museum exhibition of the work of the American artist George Condo in Greece.

We then visited “Prosaic Origins” a solo exhibition by Andreas Lolis, that is organized by the NEON Foundation as part of the “City Project” initiative. The exhibition took place at the British School of Athens where the students were offered a tour by a NEON foundation tour guide.

Lastly we visited Kentro Tehnon to see “The Materiality of the Painterly Event”, a group exhibition curated by Dennys Zacharopoulos at the City of Athens Arts Centre at Parko Eleftherias.
