EnglishHaving completed a joint honors degree in English Language and Computing at the University of Kent at Canterbury, I continued my studies at the University of Cambridge attaining an M.Phil postgraduate degree in School Reform and Professional Development. During my postgraduate studies I was placed at West Hatch Highschool (Woodford, London) where I worked closely with the School and the Local Education Authority on the implementation of school improvement programs.
I started my career in Athens, Greece at I.E.S. (International English Seminars) as an academic coordinator, tailoring Business English programs for company executives. This included conducting needs analysis, designing materials, teacher recruitment & training and program evaluation. In this position I have worked with esteemed companies including Coca Cola, Pizza Hut, Hellenic Petroleum, PwC, AstraZeneca among others. The company assumed a new entity and became L.T.E.S. where I was promoted to Senior Academic Coordinator for Business English training. In this position, I worked closely with companies all over Greece, the Balkans and the Baltics.
In 2008 I was recruited at PwC where I held the position of Project Manager for Business English training reporting directly to the division leader. I headed this section of the division providing open and tailor made seminars to executives interested in developing Communication Skills in English, Presentation Skills and Business Writing Skills. In this position I have worked closely with Diageo, Alpha Bank, Hellenic Duty Free Shops, SAP Hellas to name a few.
I joined Pierce – ACG in September 2013 as an English Instructor and went on to teach English B in the Pierce IB program in 2015 when the program was founded. In this capacity, I also coordinate the Phillips Exeter Scholarship Program in Pierce since 2013.
All the meanwhile, I have had a daughter and a son, aged 9 and 8 respectively.
