The American College of Greece is built on the slopes of Mt. Hymettus on grounds of 240 hectares, right below the Byzantine monastery of St. John the Hunter, in the suburb of Agia Paraskevi, one of the most beautiful areas in Attica. The architects that drew up the plans constructed building complexes and created open spaces for athletics (track and field, football pitch, tennis courts, basketball courts, indoor gyms, Olympic-size swimming pool, dance studio) which meet the modern demands of a progressive educational system. The College is located in a verdant environment that meets the needs of young people and cultivates feelings of bliss and fulfillment in the service of cultural ideals.
