Pierce – The American College of Greece thanks UBITECH, a leading company in the world of high technology and innovation, for its three-year commitment to supporting Pierce students in their journey of knowledge and personal growth, guided by Artificial Intelligence (AI).
As UBITECH’s co-founders state, “Artificial Intelligence is here to stay and represents a milestone for humanity, as it will affect many aspects of our daily lives.” The company provides comprehensive solutions to public and private sector organizations, aiming at their digital transformation in the 21st-century economy.” The company’s research teams actively participate in major interdisciplinary projects, covering technological fields such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, next-generation network technologies, and quantum computing, both in Greece and abroad!
AI education encourages interdisciplinary learning, connecting subjects like Mathematics, Computer Science, and Ethics, promoting digital literacy, and fostering the responsible and creative use of Technology. UBITECH’s generous sponsorship will bring AI closer to students and support, over the next three years, the initiatives of the Artificial Intelligence Academy Powered by UBITECH at Pierce – The American College of Greece:
- The Art of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, powered by UBITECH: A Technology Club where students will become familiar with how data can be transformed into knowledge and learn how machines “learn” from it. They will uncover the secrets behind algorithms, analyze data, create and evaluate machine learning models on real-world problems, and prepare for the AI revolution at every level.
- Modelling and 3D Printing, powered by UBITECH: A Technology Club where students will explore the world of digital design and Artificial Intelligence, design and create 3D objects using code and AI tools, which they will then print on the school’s 3D printers. The Club’s aim is for students to gain valuable knowledge in both AI and design techniques, while enhancing their mathematical skills, which are essential in today’s world of technology and innovation.
- Artificial Intelligence Competition, powered by UBITECH: A Student Competition for Gymnasium and Lyceum students on the topic of Artificial Intelligence, organized by Pierce and held during the 2024–2025 school year.
