Three medals and a Panhellenic swimming record for Konstantinos Stamou!

Pierce A Lyceum student and swimming scholarship recipient Konstantinos Stamou won one of the two gold medals (!) awarded to the Greek delegation to the International Multinational Youth Meet, which took place in Graz, Austria, involving top swimming champions from 12 countries.

Konstantinos won the gold medal in the 200 meter freestyle and led the Greek team in winning another two medals in group events, the silver in the 4 Χ 200 freestyle and the bronze medal in the 4 Χ 100 freestyle.

In the 4 Χ 200 freestyle, the Greek team achieved a new Panhellenic record, with Konstantinos swimming last and achieving a fantastic performance! In the 4 Χ 100 freestyle, the Greek team achieved its best performance and Konstantinos swam first!

Next stop for Konstantinos will be Thessaloniki, where he will take part in the swimming camp of the National Team.
