In a special, but equally moving way, this year’s celebration of Thanksgiving Day took place for the Pierce graduating class, C Lyceum and IB2 students.
On the evening of Thursday, November 26, the President of the American College of Greece, members of the Administration and Pierce Directors, teachers and students “met” online to express our own resounding “Thank You and We Feel Grateful” for, despite the restrictions, we enjoy the virtues of Health, Education and Love.
The President of ACG, Dr. David G. Horner, Lyceum Director, Mr. George Vakerlis, IB Director, Dr. Emmanuel Vrontakis and President of the 15-member Lyceum Student Council, Charalambos Seimanidis, in keeping with tradition, sent their wishes to the entire Student Community.
The event included music, thanks to the coordination by our Music Teachers, as well as the melodic voices of two Lyceum students. Following the first part of this lovely and special celebration, the seniors had the opportunity to talk amongst themselves and their Faculty Advisors online, thus bringing to an end this very different event.
