Representatives from universities from the U.S., U.K. and Europe visit Pierce (Spring 2018)

The Counseling Center for Studies Abroad provides Pierce students the opportunity to explore their options for furthering their education in countries outside Greece and, throughout the school year, representatives from universities from the U.S., U.K. and Europe will be visiting Pierce to share information about their undergraduate programs and the university admissions process.

Dr. Gareth Fowles, VP of Enrollment.  Lynn University is an American private university in Boca Raton, Florida with degree majors in the colleges of arts & science, aeronautics, business, education, communication & design, music and aeronautics.

Tuesday, April 24th: 3:30pm, Library Media Center, New York University-USA, Claire Wilkins, Assoc. Director of Admissions. New York University is a private nonprofit research university centered in Manhattan, located with its core in Greenwich Village, and campuses based throughout New York City. NYU hosts a wide range of programs focused under the Colleges of Medicine, Dentistry, Law, Engineering, Business, Mathematics, Human Development, Fine Arts and Liberal Studies.

Tuesday, April 17th: Pierce Amphitheater 10:00am, Yale University-USA. Keith Light, Assoc. Director of Undergraduate Admissions. Yale University is an American private Ivy League research university in New Haven, Connecticut. Yale offers undergraduate studies in liberal arts & sciences such as engineering, computer science, environmental studies, geology, mathematics, natural sciences, archaeological studies, classics, language & literature, global affairs, social sciences, theater, film and women’s studies. Tuesday, April 17th, Pierce Amphitheater 11:10am, Frederick University - Cyprus, Gavriil Kollias.  Frederick is a private university in the Republic of Cyprus. It offers undergraduate and graduate programs on two campuses, one in the capital of the island Nicosia and the other in Limassol. John Cabot University is a small American liberal arts university in the Trastevere district of Rome, Italy. Elmhurst College is a comprehensive four-year private liberal arts college in Elmhurst, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, with a tradition of service-oriented learning. Wednesday, March 14th: 10:00 am, Library Media Center, Hellenic College Holy Cross (HCHC) and  Newbury College, Vanessa Constantinidis, Assoc. Director of Admissions HCHC together with Marc Taney, Director of Basketball Operations, from partnering athletic school-Newbury College will present university programs and opportunities for scholarships and athletics. HCHC is an Orthodox Christian liberal arts college and seminary located in Brookline, Massachusetts with majors in religious studies, classics and Greek study, elementary education, human development, management and leadership. VRIJE University Amsterdam also known as VU is a large publically funded research university with English-taught programs ranging from biomedical sciences, psychology, computer science and mathematics to econometrics, economics, business, information sciences and philosophy, politics and economics (PPE). Thursday, February 22nd:  Pierce Amphitheater 9:30am, Macquarie University-Australia, Dr Hedda Paisley – Director of Development, Becky Bradley – Europe Coordinator.  Macquarie University is a research university based in Sydney, Australia.  Undergraduate studies are available in science, health and medical sciences, environment, engineering & IT, education, business, law, security & intelligence, media, creative arts & communication, society, history & languages.
