Pierce team is 4th in the world at the Robotics Olympiad

The Pierce team Rest in PC’s is 4th in the world in the Open Lyceum category at the Educational Robotics Olympiad in Thailand! The team is made up of C Lyceum students and members of the Pierce Robotics Club Michael-Angelos Gkouvelis, George Sazaklis and Kyriakos Stratakos and represented our country and Pierce – The American College of Greece in Thailand (November 16-18, 2018), having already achieved 1st place in the final of the Greek Competition of the Educational Robotics Olympiad WRO™ 2018.

The President of WRO Hellas, Mr. Ioannidou Somalakidis, congratulated the members of the Pierce team and their Faculty Advisor, Mr. Fotios Katsochristos, pointing out that “all four teams representing Greece at the Olympiad carried out feasible projects which can be implemented in the real economy, changing the current status of our country.”
