A3 Gymnasium student Myrsini Apostolou of Pierce – The American College of Greece was awarded for her story “The Diary of a Racer and Fighter for Life” by the President of the Hellenic Republic Mr. Prokopis Pavlopoulos. The award ceremony took place as part of the proceedings of the 10th Panhellenic Student Conference “Education for a World Without Smoking,” which took place at the Ministry of Education on Tuesday, November 26, 2019.
At the conference, a dance performance was also presented by 14 Gymnasium and Lyceum students, including a fencing-dance entitled “The Flame of Life,” and Pierce c5 Gymnasium student Ariadne-Anthi Papouli interpreted her own composition entitled “Smokeless Rhapsody.”
