Pierce students at Drawing Marathon 2019 at Deree

A group of Pierce B and C Lyceum students with a talent and love of drawing took part in the annual program Drawing Marathon, which was organized by the Visual Arts Department of the Frances Rich School of Fine and Performing Arts at Deree, November 12 – 22, 2019.

The program included the study of composition from nature and with a model, and was aimed at familiarizing students with the human form. Provided with drawing pads and pencils, and with the guidance of Pierce and Deree professors, our students had the opportunity to practice and create compositions in a specially designed space at Deree, in the Art Center Student Gallery, and also to browse around the painting exhibitions of Visual Arts students.

The works our students created will remain on exhibition in the Art Center Student Gallery until the end of February, along with those of Deree students!
