Pierce students at 5th Panhellenic Student Theology Conference

A group of Gymnasium and Lyceum students of Pierce – The American College of Greece presented their projects at the 5th Panhellenic Student Theology Conference, whose theme was “Theology converses with the modern world,” which was organized by the 1st Experimental Lyceum of Thessaloniki “Manolis Andronikos” at the city’s Byzantine Museum from March 16 to 17, 2019.


The theme of the presentation was “Religions and Human Rights” and it included the recitation of a poem by a9 Gymnasium student Evangelia-Anna Demponou, the showing of a video prepared by a9 Gymnasium students Andreas Konstantinou, Theodoros Lignos and Alesantro Betziora, a theatrical performance created by a3 Gymnasium students Maria Karvouniari, Chrysi Pantazi, Zinovia Stavropoulou and Vasiliki Psarogiorgou and a speech by A2 Lyceum student Elias-Efraim Ganelis on the power of faith!

At the same time, a9 Gymnasium students Rafaela Venturi, Ekaterini Dania, Myrto Linaki, Ellie Papanastasiou and Ekaterini-Agapi Salvanou exhibited models and paintings on the theme “Theology and Ecology” in the “M. Merkouri” Hall at the Byzantine Museum.
