On Tuesday, July 2, 2024, Gymnasium Deputy Director, Ms. Maria Korda, represented Pierce at the 28th Annual Economist Government Roundtable.
The conference showcased the achievements of the next generation for a sustainable future, best practices and distinctions of Pierce students regarding STEM education and how it relates to achieving the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Specifically, Ms. Korda spoke about how, in response to current educational needs, our School, at all levels of education, implements experiential programs that promote sustainable development. For their experiential activities, our children use, among other things, the Fab Lab and the Makers Space workshops that promote the educational model of learning by doing.
