Pierce – The American College of Greece, has received the title “European Parliament Ambassador School” for third consecutive year. This title is conferred upon schools that inform and actively compel their students to delve deeper into the values of the Parliamentary and Political Democracy in Europe, to familiarize themselves with the role and the work of the European Union as well as the other basic organizations of the European Union and to contemplate the great challenges that the European Union is confronted with.
The educational program is organized by the Bureau of the European Union in Greece and it is addressed to educators and students of the three Lyceum classes. Pierce participated with 4 educators and 15 students. The Award Ceremony of the titles that will be conferred upon educators, students and the School will take place at the Bureau of the European Parliament, at Syntagma, on a date that will soon be announced.
