Earlier this month Pierce – The American College of Greece welcomed representatives from 67 universities from all over the world for a special event: the first ever International University Fair for undergraduate studies abroad.
Pierce campus opened its doors to the general public for two days, and hundreds of students and their parents took advantage of this unique opportunity to discuss options for higher education degrees in English in more than 12 countries.
Highlights included presentations by the British Council, the Fulbright Foundation, the Canadian Embassy, the Italian Insitute, Institut Francais, and the Goethe Institut. Guests – younger and older – enjoyed the productive discussion, valuable information, and the collection of college regalia.
A few of the luckier ones left with prizes, such as the coveted Antetokounmpo Milwaukee Bucks jerseys that Pierce students won (courtesy of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, representatives of which attended the fair).
See you next time!
