
Pierce students attended an online educational seminar, as part of the program “Schools – European Parliament Ambassadors.” The seminar took place on Saturday, January 17, Sunday, January 18 and Sunday, January 31 and its was attended by Pierce students: Adamantia Kanonopoulou, Dimitrios Mostratos, Maria-Panagiota Berketi, Natalia Nikolakopoulou, Melina Xanthopoulou, Markella Papadimitriou, Kanella Papakosta-Sambatakaki, Foteini Sfakianaki and Maria Choromidi, as Junior Ambassadors of this program.
The Pierce teachers who attended the seminar were: Konstantinos Gakis, Ioannis Kosmas, Maria Lada and Elias Minas, as Senior Ambassadors.
The “European Parliament Ambassador Schools (EPAS) program, in which Pierce is a participant, is organized by the Office of the European Parliament in Greece and is conducted by the Laboratory of ERDIC (Education Policy, Research, Development and Interuniversity Cooperation) of the University of Piraeus Department of International and European Studies, whose Academic Coordinator is Associate Professor Dr. Foteini Asderaki.
