Nine Pierce students qualified for the final of the Economics Olympiad!

The Economic Olympiad is organized by the Centre for Liberal Studies – Markos Dragoumis (KEFIM), in cooperation with the Bank of Greece. The Competition is being held for 4th consecutive year, in three phases: 328 qualified for the 2nd round (out of 3,500 participants) and 69 qualified for the final, 3rd round, of which 9 are Pierce students!

  • C’ Lyceum: Angelos – Dionysios Demponos, Konstantinos Kourdis and Panagiotis Bouloutas,
  • B’ Lyceum: Jacqueline Molcho, Cassandra Andreou, Marios Pasoglou, and Athanasia Seinti,
  • A’ Lyceum: Ioannis Athanasiadis and Philip Pantelis

This is the largest participation of our students in the final of the Competition (in the 1st year 3 students qualified, in the 2nd year 6, and in the past year 5 students). Most of them have attended or are attending the School’s Economics Academy.

The final round of the Economics Olympiad will be held on Saturday, June 15, at the Pierce – The American College of Greece.
