Lymperis Georgios Karras, a student of Pierce’s C Lyceum, won 1st place in the Panhellenic Lyceum Physics Competition 2024, organized by the Union of Greek Physicists, which took place on Saturday, March 30, 2024, with physical presence, in examination centers all over Greece!
Lyberis also received an Award of Excellence, a distinction superior to the 1st Prize, due to his excellent score (100/100).
3 other Pierce students found themselves in the first places of the Competition:
- 4th Prize: Markos Radaios and Konstantinos Christakos*.
- 9th Prize: Vasiliki Psarogiorgou
The Pierce students, for the 4th consecutive year, won the 1st Prize in the Panhellenic Physics Competition:
- in 2021 the 1st Prize was won by Kanella (Nelly) Papakosta-Sabatakaki
- in 2022 the 1st Prize was won by Athanasios – Nikolaos Stamou
- in 2022 the 1st Prize was won by Maria Choromidi!
*Also, Pierce’s C Lyceum student, Konstantinos Christakos won 4th place in the Panhellenic Chemistry Competition of the Union of Greek Chemists.
