Gold and Bronze medal in the international swimming tournament for Pierce athletes!

Pierce students returned with a gold medal (Marios Vlachakis) and a bronze medal (Antonia Rakopoulou) from the multinational swim meets for teens and youth!

A total of four of our students were selected to represent Greece in the delegation of the national swimming team, in the two multinational events, Multinations 2024, which took place on April 6th and 7th in Skopje (Multination Youth Swimming Meet for Lyceum students) and in Graz, Austria (Multination Junior Swimming Meet for Lyceum students).

  • Marios Vlachakis (B’ Gymnasium) won the gold medal in the 200m butterfly and came 3rd in the 4×100m freestyle relay,
  • Antonia Rakopoulou (A’ Lyceum) won the bronze medal in the 400m individual medley
  • Areti Zarbouti (A’ Lyceum) came 6th in the 200m breaststroke and
  • Vasiliki Xira (C’ Gymnasium) came 7th in the 800m freestyle and 4th in the 4×200m freestyle relay.
