First place in track and field for Athina Tziatzouli

First place for Pierce B Gymnasium student Athina Tziatzouli in the long jump, the high jump and the quadruple jump!

Athina started off the year participating with the school’s track and field team in the “Aegean Athletics Tournament 2019” in Thessaloniki, where she achieved 1st place in the long jump and 2nd place in the high jump.

In February, Athina took part in the Training Indoor Track and Field Workshops of the Hellenic Athletics Federation (SEGAS) in Agios Kosmas and the Peace and Friendship Stadium, where she achieved the following:

  • great performances in the quadruple jump (category K16) of 13.83m. and 13.94m
  • great performance in Greece in the high jump (category K16) of 1.63m.
