Evelina Antemisari, B Lyceum student who studies at Pierce with a Music scholarship, participated in the international piano masterclass and concerts taught by the internationally acclaimed maestro and pianist Dimitri Toufexi. The event took place in Bologna – Italy from 7/3/2022 to 12/3/2022 and was organized by the “Associazone Mozart Italia –sede di Bologna”.
The concert took place at the historical “Circolo Culturale Lirico” of Bologna and Evelina performed Mozart’s “Piano Concerto No.12 in A major K 414 του Mozart” with a string orchestra and under the direction of the Italian maestro Michele Bui. The cadenza of the first movement of Mozart’s concerto that she performed is composed by Evelina. She also performed her own piano music piece called “Lucid Dream”.
Evelina impressed the audience with her elegant performance, her emotionally rich sound and her excellent cadenza which was described as a delight to listen to by many of the orchestra and audience members such as maestro Dimitri Toufexis, maestro Michele Bui, the president of the Mozart Association of Bologna Ms. Antonella Orefice (soprano), the vice president of the Association Ms. Paola Alessandra Troili (pianist), Mr. Neville Jason Fahy (pianist) and the Greek consul in Bologna Ms. Georgia Lambraki.
