
The team Judge 13, comprising Philip Pantelis and Angelos Stavrou, A Gymnasium students and members of the after-school Robotics Club for A Gymnasium students, distinguished itself at the RoboMarathon Educational Robotics Marathon. The Pierce team achieved 9th place among 52 teams from Greece and Russia in the 10-13 age group.
The competition began on December 5, as part of the Online Programming and Educational Robotics Competition.
The programming phase of the RoboMarathon competition comprised six 2-week activities in which the participants were called upon to solve theoretical robotics problems as well as a racing activity in the simulation environment.
