On Monday, December 23, students – members of the two Pierce musical ensembles, the Choir and the Orchestra, sang Christmas carols and holiday songs in the hall of the Municipal Council of Agia Paraskevi and at the ERT Building. The Choir was directed by Music teacher Ms. Dora Panagopoulou and the Orchestra by Music teacher Mr. Orestis Chatzinakis.
The event was attended by the Mayor of Agia Paraskevi, Mr. Vasilios Zorbas, the Deputy Mayor for Social Policy, Mr. Nikos Kovaios, the Secretary General, Mr. Miltiades Kyrkos, the Municipal Councilor, Mr. Nikos Zombolas, and many employees of the municipality.
The Pierce students, along with their teachers and the Gymasium Director, Mr. Ioannis Kladas, continued their musical tour of Agia Paraskevi, moving on to the ERT Building, where they sang for and gave holidays wishes to the Managing Director of ERT, Mr. George Gabritso. The tour ended in the Central Square, Agiou Ioannou Street and Ai Gianni Square, singing and handing out treats.
