Maria Kontogianni, Pierce graduate and now a student in the Department of Management Science and Technology at Athens University of Economics and Business, distinguished herself at the 1st Panhellenic Student Competition in Economics “Hermes,” and received her award at a special online event on Thursday, October 1st.
As a C Lyceum student, Maria had taken part in the “HERMES” Competition, which was organized by Athens University of Economics and Business and achieved 18th place among 520 participants! The 21 top winners were awarded, receiving the University’s Silver Collector Coin on the occasion of the “100 Years since the Founding of AUEB.”
The Competition took place online on May 23, as part of the celebration of the “100 Years since the Founding of AUEB” and the participants were examined using distance learning methods on the subject of Economics, as determined by the relevant Lyceum syllabus as well as the broader knowledge and references contained in other related Lyceum books.
Congratulations to Maria, who got to know about the Athens University of Economics and Business as a C Lyceum student last year and, having scored 18,150 points on the Panhellenic examinations, is not studying there and continues to distinguish herself!
