The Airgenics team of Pierce, consisting of Jiasmin – Alexandra Samolada (IB1), Melina Xanthopoulou (B6 Lyceum) and Alexandros Chatzipanagos (IB2) came in 2nd place in the National Final of the World Robot Olympiad 2021 (OPEN CATEGORY) and will represent our country in the Worldwide Final of the World Robot Olympiad 2021!
The National Competition was held on September 25th & 26th at OTE Academy and the Worldwide Final will take place online, from November 18th until 21st 2021.
The Olympiad’s theme this year is “PowerBots – The Future of Energy”! The use of more renewable sources of energy means that humanity must face new challenges, with the help of Robotics and the ideas of the children.
