The 5th Conference United Nations Simulation ACGMUN, which was organized by Pierce, was carried out online, with great success, and the topic was “Decent Work and Economic Growth.”
The platform used by our school was Microsoft Teams, and 25 schools from Greece and other countries participated. The 450 students that participated as delegates, chairs και secretariat, were impressed by both the impeccable organization, as well as the substantial work of the committees. Lots of hours of negotiations and a multitude of resolutions that were voted!
It is worth mentioning that the money that was raised from this year’s ACGMUN amounted to 6.450 euros and it was offered to the non-profit organization “Smile of the Child,” which was an initiative of the organizing committee.
