The Lyceum of Pierce – The American College of Greece is organizing the 4th Student Arts Festival, under the auspices of the Directorate of Secondary Education for B Athens, which will include a program of cultural events, called “Days of the Arts 2020.”
The events include creations in every area of art and artistic activity (theatrical performances, painting exhibitions, sculpture, song, dance, oral interpretation of literature, video, installations, etc.) with a common theme, which this year is stories and their appearance in the culture and traditions of all peoples of all times, whether they appear in the form of fairy tales, myths, legends or allegories.
The aim of the Festival is to introduce students to the Arts, either as creators or as sensitized audiences. Through this contact with the Arts, we aim to initiate students into the secrets of artistic creation and the value of participating and collaborating.
The students’ creations will be presented from March 30 to April 1, 2020 on the campus of the American College of Greece (6 Gravias Street, Agia Paraskevi) and at the Michael Cacogiannis Foundation (206 Piraeus Avenue, Tavros, Athens), thanks to the collaboration of ACG with MCF.
Any school, public or private, from Greece or abroad, may take part in “Days of the Arts.”
