The Easy Park team, consisting of Eleni Kouta, Giorgos Ieromonachos, Kostis Karapatakis, Charidimos Dretakis, Zoe Themistoklis and Styliani – Fanouria Lapanaiti, A10 Gymnasium students of Pierce, won the 2nd place nationwide in the final of the educational program AWS GetIT Greece of Amazon, with the Park Ping application. The final was held on Sunday 14 May at the Eugenides Foundation and 23 teams from schools across Greece participated.
AWS GetIT is an educational program that concludes with the competition and is designed to inspire Gymnasium students, encouraging them to consider future careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). This year’s theme was focused on app development and cloud computing.
