2022 Pierce Homecoming Reunion – Saturday, September 17th, 2022

After two years of being unable to hold an in-person gathering, Pierce Alumni from the graduating class years between 1950-2021 ending in zero (0) and one (1), were welcomed back on campus on Saturday, September 17th for the Pierce Homecoming Reunion 2022!

The guests were welcomed at the Pierce Theater by President David G. Horner, Executive Director of Advancement-Alumni, Maria Laina, and VP of Public Affairs Claudia Carydis followed by remarks made by representatives of the classes and former professors. Pierce Alumna, Greek actress, theatrical play writer and director Mimi Denissi, was presented the Lifetime Achievement Award for her contribution in the cultural life of Greece. Finally, alumni Lydia Iatraki (P’13), Nick Venner (D’17) and Christos Papadopoulos (D’20) performed live in the Pierce Theater while alumni of the Pierce Class of 2010 performed live later on at the Theater patio.

Our Alumni had the opportunity to participate in guided campus tours, and visit the MakerSpace, FabLab, the Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Chemistry Labs, watched the an IB art exhibition, spent time at the Sunny Days exhibit, and saw real-time the student projects of the Robotics club and the Academy of Engineering.

The Pierce Homecoming Reunion 2022 was organized by the Office of Advancement-Alumni of The American College of Greece.
