The 1st Track and Field Day of the American College of Greece
took place on 25 May 2023, at the East Campus, the new Pierce facilities in Spata
The successful sporting event brought together in the playing field three large private schools, Pierce – The American College of Greece, Leontios School of Smyrni and Moraitis School, offering an unforgettable experience to 5th and 6th Graders of Elementary School and 7th and 8th Graders of the Gymnasium. The young athletes put their strength to the test in the following events: 60 m, 80 m, 300 m, 600 m and 1000 m running races, 4 x 50 m and 4 x 80 m relay races, long jump and triple jump. Their performance was impressive and demonstrated the talent and skill of the young athletes.
The first Track and Field Day at East Campus proved to be an unforgettable experience for all participants. The athletes were awarded medals and certificates for their outstanding performance. They were a great start to a new tradition of athletic events that are expected to excite and inspire future generations of athletes.
